Congratulations to all the student teams that competed\u00a0in Formula SAE Japan last week! \u00a0 The FSAE \u00a0event\u00a0brings together engineering students to compete in static events such as design presentation and cost reporting and dynamic events such as endurance and acceleration.<\/p>\n

This year students used SOLIDWORKS and SOLIDWORKS SIMULATION as necessary software tools to complete at a world-class level.<\/p>\n

This year sponsored teams will also receive SOLIDWORKS Electrical for 2D schematic and 3D wire harness design. \u00a0 Formula SAE and Formula Student Teams can apply at www.solidworks.com\/SAE. \u00a0Sponsored teams\u00a0also receive SOLIDWORKS training tutorials that focus on\u00a0design an analysis techniques with an FSAE vehicle such as flow analysis on an intake manifold, thermal analysis on brakes and stress analysis on the frame.<\/p>\n
