Last week, FIRST Robotics<\/a> Supplier Summit dinner recognized SOLIDWORKS\u00a0for being a FIRST Robotics Competition<\/a> (FRC) Crown Sponsor. \u00a0I was humbled to receive a plaque from Kate<\/strong> Pilotte<\/strong>, FRC Kit of Parts Manager, that reflects all the mentors, students, and the 870+ FIRST teams that applied for SOLIDWORKS sponsorship last season.<\/p>\n Dean had inspirational words to all sponsors and joked about us not receiving a free lunch but rather a free dinner.\u00a0 \u00a0Since I not only received a free dinner but also a plaque, \u00a0SOLIDWORKS must\u00a0assist more in the FIRST mission, \u201cTo transform our culture by creating a world where science and technology are celebrated and where young people dream of becoming science and technology leaders.” \u00a0No other organization has contributed more to Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) education and inspiration.<\/p>\n SOLIDWORKS\u00a0customers are engineers, designers and manufacturers. \u00a0As FIRST grows, SOLIDWORKS must be there to support\u00a0students, mentors, and our customers.
