NC State Robotics Club <\/a>soared to a first place finish at this year’s 2014 \u00a0Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International,\u00a0AUVSI \u00a0SUAS<\/a>, Aerial \u00a0Robotics Competition. \u00a0The Student Unmanned Air Systems (SUAS) competition provides challenging missions to student teams to design, integrate and demonstrate system operations of an autonomous flight vehicle including navigation and use of on-board payload sensors.<\/p>\n

NC State\u2019s Aerial Robotics Club comprised of team captain, \u00a0RJ Gritter<\/strong>, \u00a0imagery leader Michael Pratt<\/strong>, autopilot leader Lindsey Reed<\/strong>, flightline director Jesse Crouch<\/strong> and other members Justin<\/strong> Easter<\/strong>, Kim Nguyen<\/strong>, Alex Shave<\/strong>r, Joe Hodkiewicz<\/strong>, Alan Hilliard<\/strong> and Matthew Tompkins<\/strong>. \u00a0Thank you for using SOLIDWORKS and SOLIDWORKS Simulation.<\/p>\n

The 12th annual SUAS Competition, held in\u00a0Patuxent River, Maryland, USA was sponsored by the Seafarer Chapter of \u00a0AUVSI \u00a0and featured 28 aviation clubs from around the world.<\/p>\n
