The drive from \u00c9cole de Technologie Sup\u00e9rieure<\/a> (ETS) in\u00a0Montreal to Baja SAE East <\/a>in Pittburg, Kansas is 1418 miles,(2282km) and 21 hrs. \u00a0The drive takes longer when you are pulling a trailer with your Baja vehicle.<\/p>\n

Our SolidWorks Value Added Reseller (VAR) in Montreal that supports ETS is PBI CADCAM.<\/a>\u00a0 PBI CADCAM \u00a0provides training and support to the\u00a0ETS Baja<\/a> team. \u00a0They continue to improve on the Baja SAE circuit.<\/p>\n

This week ETS placed 3rd in Polaris Design, 2nd in Honda R&D Overall Dynamics Award, and 6th Briggs and Stratton Overall Award.<\/p>\n

ETS gave the SolidWorks EDU team these plaques to say “thank you” to SolidWorks. \u00a0They will be proudly hung in Dassault Systemes Corporate North American HQ in Waltham, MA.<\/p>\n

It gives me great pleasure to give you our sincere thanks on behalf of the entire Baja team at ETS.\u00a0 In essence, thanks to the support given to us by PBI, it was possible for the team to participate in 3 SAE competitions, and to finish in good company: Cornell, Oregon State & RIT.<\/i><\/p>\n

<\/i>It\u2019s important for me to emphasize the hours of SolidWorks training furnished by PBI were of utmost importance, and was pivotal in helping the team place 4th<\/sup> in Bellingham & Cookeville.\u00a0 The 3rd<\/sup> & final competition was in Rochester, where we finished 6th<\/sup> (2nd<\/sup> internationally).<\/i><\/p>\n

Thanks to your gift, it was possible to create prototypes which permitted us to same time making optimized parts for the car- saving money.<\/i><\/p>\n
