All we did was save the drawings in a vectorized format (.pdf) in order not to get low resolution or pixelated prints. We sent the drawings and logos that we wanted on the truck out to a local specialized print shop that makes vinyl decals (Sticky Media). They chose the parts of the drawings they liked the most and enlarged them. They then got the stickers printed/cut and installed them on the truck."

You have to love extra large SolidWorks drawings on your truck! Marie

Using SolidWorks Drawings can save you time when design changes enevitably occur. The drawings I saw from the SAE team at Concordia Univerisity were amazing because they were placed on their Ford F150 truck! I asked Concordia's vice president Jimmy Stabio to

... Continued
[4015,4084
4026,3934,3930,4620,4943,4557,3940,4027,4357,3952,4028,4025,3951,5699,3931,4001,4019,4944,4077,4318,4945
post-251","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-mechanical-engineering","category-sae","tag-2d","tag-3d","tag-cad","tag-computer-aided-design","tag-concordia","tag-decals","tag-design","tag-drafting","tag-drawing","tag-education","tag-engineering-graphics","tag-instructor","tag-model","tag-sae","tag-solidworks","tag-student","tag-teacher","tag-truck","tag-tutorial","tag-tutorials","tag-vector
["GET
