This year\u2019s Cornell Cup 1<sup>st<\/sup> place winner is the University of Pennsylvania for their untethered, powered Exoskeleton, called the Titan Arm.&#0160; <\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.titanarm.com\/\">Titan Arm<\/a> is designed for rehabilitation, therapeutic applications and occupations requiring augmented strength.&#0160; Team Titan is made up of 4 senior engineers, <strong>Elizabeth Beattie<\/strong>, <strong>Nick McGIll<\/strong>, <strong>Nick Parrotta<\/strong>, and <strong>Niko Vladimirov.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><a class=\"asset-img-link\" href=\"https:\/\/blog-assets.solidworks.com\/uploads\/sites\/3\/6a00d83451706569e20192aa7791bd970d.jpg\" style=\"display: inline;\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Univ of PA Cornell Cup 2013 FEA\" border=\"0\" class=\"asset  asset-image at-xid-6a00d83451706569e20192aa7791bd970d image-full\" src=\"https:\/\/blog-assets.solidworks.com\/uploads\/sites\/3\/6a00d83451706569e20192aa7791bd970d-800wi.jpg\" title=\"Univ of PA Cornell Cup 2013 FEA\" \/><\/a><br \/><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>We used SolidWorks not only for its plethora of design and assembly tools, but also for its FEA toolkit, something that helped us verify and modify our designs as needed<\/em>\u201d&#0160;&#0160; Team Titan. <\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.systemseng.cornell.edu\/intel\/\" target=\"_self\" title=\"Cornell Cup\">Cornell Cup<\/a> is sponsored by Cornell University and &#0160;Intel and this year took place in Orlando Florida, USA.&#0160;
