Seven teams of students took part in the event at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Robotics at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.agh.edu.pl\/en\/\">AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow<\/a>, one of the best technical universities in Poland. This competition was supported by SOLIDWORKS reseller, <a href=\"https:\/\/solidexpert.com\/\">SOLIDEXPERT POLSKA SP. Participants used <a href=\"https:\/\/www.solidworks.com\/solution\/academia\">SOLIDWORKS<\/a> to design the part. The next stage was to print it out and test it. The jury also assessed the team&#8217;s presentation of the design.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-18820\" src=\"https:\/\/blog-assets.solidworks.com\/uploads\/sites\/3\/SKIPPER-435x615.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"435\" height=\"615\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog-assets.solidworks.com\/uploads\/sites\/3\/SKIPPER-435x615.jpg 435w, https:\/\/blog-assets.solidworks.com\/uploads\/sites\/3\/SKIPPER-212x300.jpg 212w, https:\/\/blog-assets.solidworks.com\/uploads\/sites\/3\/SKIPPER-768x1086.jpg 768w, https:\/\/blog-assets.solidworks.com\/uploads\/sites\/3\/SKIPPER-1086x1536.jpg 1086w, https:\/\/blog-assets.solidworks.com\/uploads\/sites\/3\/SKIPPER-1448x2048.jpg 1448w, https:\/\/blog-assets.solidworks.com\/uploads\/sites\/3\/SKIPPER-728x1030.jpg 728w, https:\/\/blog-assets.solidworks.com\/uploads\/sites\/3\/SKIPPER.jpg 1810w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 435px) 100vw, 435px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>What counted in the competition?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\ud83d\udd39 Innovation of the project &#8211; a creative and modern approach to design,<\/p>\n<p>\ud83d\udd39 Precision of execution &#8211; matching the prototype to the technical requirements,<\/p>\n<p>\ud83d\udd39 Test results &#8211; effectiveness of the model under simulated operating conditions,<\/p>\n<p>\ud83d\udd39 Presentation of results &#8211; ability to defend the design in front of a jury of experts.<\/p>\n<p>During the event, specialists from SOLIDEXPERT: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/wladyslaw-hamiga\/\">W\u0142adys\u0142aw Hamiga<\/a> &#8211; Technical Specialist for 3DEXPERIENCE \/ SIMULATION, who was on the jury of the competition and <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/agnieszka-g-86206b218\/\">Agnieszka Galarowicz<\/a><\/em>, actively reviewed students&#8217; entries.<\/p>\n<p>It was a great opportunity to participate in this unique event promoting innovation and teamwork among students.
