On October 8, 2024, the\u00a03DEXPERIENCE Academy<\/strong>\u00a0was officially inaugurated at the Chambre (CCI France Italia) at the headquarters of the\u00a0French Consulate in Naples, Italy.<\/p>\n

The\u00a03DEXPERIENCE Academy<\/a>\u00a0is a joint initiative between\u00a0Dassault Syst\u00e8mes<\/i>, our partner and reseller, CSP<\/a> (Cad Solution Provider<\/a>).\u00a0and the\u00a0University of Naples Federico II<\/i><\/a>\u00a0created to train highly specialized skills in CAD & PLM technologies.<\/p>\n

The Event in Naples, Italy<\/u>
\nThe inaugural event aimed to present to local businesses and academics the activities carried out during the first edition of the 3D EXPERIENCE Academy, dedicated to the\u00a0“Training of Experts in Computer-Aided Design and Product Life Cycle Management”<\/i>. The project aimed to train professionals specialized in computer-aided design for the engineering sector, responding to the needs of companies that use Dassault Syst\u00e8mes solutions.<\/p>\n

The start of the works was marked by the speech of the\u00a0Consul General of France in Naples<\/i>,\u00a0Lise Moutoumalaya<\/strong>, and the\u00a0Councilor for Professional Training of the Campania region<\/i>,\u00a0Armida Filippelli<\/strong>: both expressed strong appreciation for the project, underlining the value of collaboration between higher education and research institutions and local companies to promote innovation and training.<\/p>\n

Following this, the speech of Marco Pisano, Director Public Sector at Dassault Syst\u00e8mes, highlighted the intent to offer students a practical and tangible opportunity by allowing them to directly experiment with Dassault Syst\u00e8mes’ advanced technologies, considered essential for engineers and technical professionals, as they allow them to operate collaboratively and design using innovative tools.<\/p>\n

The Training Path<\/u><\/p>\n

Giuseppe Di Gironimo<\/strong>,\u00a0Professor at the University of Naples Federico II<\/i>, then illustrated the entire project, based on a theoretical-practical method, had a total duration of 12 weeks: 480 hours of training, 240 hours of classroom and 240 hours of internship in the company at the project partner companies\u00a0Dassault Syst\u00e8mes SRL Italy<\/i>,\u00a0Cadland Academy<\/i>\u00a0and the other companies in the Campania region:\u00a0Abete srl<\/i>,\u00a0Robosan srl<\/i>\u00a0and\u00a0Accenture Italia<\/i>. The educational itinerary combined basic theoretical courses on design methodologies and PLM, practical application courses on the\u00a03DEXPERIENCE EDU Platform<\/strong>, Dassault Syst\u00e8mes\u00a0Certifications<\/i>\u00a0and Project Work activities carried out in collaboration with the host companies.<\/p>\n

Eight young graduates from Unina took part in the initiative, actively present at the event and presented their projects carried out in the company.<\/p>\n

Round Table<\/u><\/p>\n

During the last part of the event, a round table was held with the participation of important managerial figures from the Campania industry and beyond, such as\u00a0Luigi Carrino<\/strong>,\u00a0President of the Board of Directors of DAC (Italian Aerospace District)<\/i>,\u00a0Claudio Pezzullo<\/strong>,\u00a0COO and GM Italy at ALA spa<\/i>,\u00a0Pasquale Rovito<\/strong>,\u00a0Head of R&D and Head of Digital Transition, EAV<\/i>,\u00a0Silvano Joly<\/strong>,\u00a0Director at Deloitte Consulting<\/i>,\u00a0Giovanni Abete<\/strong>,\u00a0CEO of Abete srl<\/i>\u00a0and Prof.\u00a0Antonio Lanzotti<\/strong>,\u00a0Director of Fraunhofer JL IDEAS Lab in Naples<\/i>.<\/p>\n

The speakers discussed\u00a0the importance of skills in the current context\u00a0<\/u>and how these are essential to address market challenges.\u00a0Carrino<\/strong>\u00a0concluded by underlining that technology and skills are evolving rapidly. He highlighted the need for continuous work to integrate universities and partners, as Dassault System\u00e8s, and he praised this initiative as the right approach to facilitate growth and innovation in the sector, creating synergies between education and business practice.<\/p>\n
