If you have a PC (windows native\/64bit), the SOLIDWORKS Connected app is also included with 3DEXPERIENCE SOLIDWORKS for Students .\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

The SOLIDWORKS Connected App allows you to create parts, assemblies, and drawings in the SOLIDWORKS user interface and stores model data on the cloud or to your PC.\u00a0 A web connection is required. (Note: You cannot run SOLIDWORKS Connected App and SOLIDWORKS desktop on the same PC.)<\/p>\n

The 3DEXPERIENCE SOLIDWORKS for Student offer contains both SOLIDWORKS Cloud CAD apps (Cloud) and SOLIDWORKS Connector app (Desktop).<\/p>\n

If you have a PC and are taking a summer class with no access to a school lab, then finish up your classes with SOLIDWORKS desktop.\u00a0 The SOLIDWORKS Student Edition<\/a> is based on the same license used at your school.<\/p>\n

If you do not have strong internet access, SOLIDWORKS Student Edition<\/a> only requires web access at time of installation.<\/p>\n
