The Boston Children’s Museum<\/a> Tech Kitchen is a new innovative place to meet inventors, innovators and high-tech makers as they showcase their latest fun Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math (STEM\/STEAM) applications.<\/p>\n

On Sunday May 8, from 2pm – 4pm The Tech Kitchen<\/a> will host, 3D Modeling and Design with SOLIDWORKS Apps for Kids workshop at the Children’s Museum in Boston, MA, USA.<\/p>\n

You must register here<\/a>\u00a0to attend.<\/p>\n

If you are in the Boston area, you can visit the museum and let your child\u00a0 explore how to create, design, style and make amazing 3D shapes with SOLIDWORKS Apps for Kids.<\/p>\n

SOLIDWORKS Apps for Kids is a free, fun learning STEM\/STEAM web-based tools available for kids ages 4-14. Parents and mentors can sign up for free for SOLIDWORKS Apps for Kids<\/a>.\u00a0 We have a special SOLIDWORKS Apps for Kids Classroom<\/a> – just for teachers and mentors too.<\/p>\n

Join your host, Jonah Boucher,\u00a0 high school STEM educator in Boston. Jonah has spent the past five years\u00a0 teaching geometry, algebra, and biochemistry, as well as developing STEM curriculum using the 3D design software BlocksCAD. This summer Jonah will\u00a0 be attending Harvard’s Graduate School of Education as part of the Learning Design, Innovation, and Technology program, designing experiences that inspire and equip students to work on the world’s most pressing problems.<\/p>\n
