To help create the next generation of skilled workers, Tuscano Machine created an apprenticeship program that provides on-the-job training to young people building careers in high-end machining. They also conduct high school and college tours to inform all students about manufacturing and to work with teachers at Sweet Grass County High School.<\/a><\/p>\n

In addition, Tuscano Machine sponsors ReMade in Montana<\/a>, a technical vocational education program located in their facility.\u00a0 High-school students learn basic shop skills by refurbishing agricultural equipment.\u00a0 Each student learns the motto, \u201cIf you can think of it, we can try it!\u201d<\/p>\n

Their outreach continues with mechanical engineering student, Brandon Schwers at Montana State University<\/a> who works part-time at Tuscano Machine and assists with the high school programs.\u00a0 Brandon uses SOLIDWORKS at both school and work.<\/p>\n
