As time closes in to end the year, I have met hundreds of educators and students \u2013 through video, chat, and email. Educators and students earned a \u201cPerseverance\u201d Award as they continue to learn with SOLIDWORKS<\/a> on their home computer, the cloud app, xDesign<\/a> on their school\u2019s Chromebook, or SOLIDWORKS Apps for Kids<\/a> on a tablet.<\/p>\n

2020 explored new software in and out of the classroom, showing that educators, no matter what the obstacles, continue to teach and students continue to learn.<\/p>\n

Around the world, students shared great designs and projects, their designs continue to impress my colleagues and me.<\/p>\n

What if learning a new topic is difficult.\u00a0\u00a0 We have all been there.\u00a0 A math class, engineering assignment, English paper, SOLIDWORKS \u2013 yes even SOLIDWORKS.\u00a0 How do you persevere if your education or job depended on learning SOLIDWORKS?<\/p>\n

UMASS Dartmouth<\/a>, Bioengineering graduate student, Matthew Phou shares his story with the SOLIDWORKS community \u00a0\u2013 using the tools of SOLIDWORKS he has learned on his own to create the video. Matthew is now in the SOLIDWORKS Champion program and a SOLIDWORKS User Group<\/a> leader in Rhode Island.\u00a0 He continues to learn by learning from others. Whether educator or student, 2020 has been a year of perseverance, it has not been easy.\u00a0 Luckily we keep going.
