The COVID19 virus may have disrupted your classroom education.\u00a0 But now researchers, educators and students can be part of a global community of designers,\u00a0 engineers, and volunteers that join together to fight the virus.<\/p>\n

The Open COVID19 community is a free, open and online community that brings together ideas from around the world all in one place.\u00a0 This community uses on the Dassault Systemes 3DEXPERIENCE platform to disseminate information, share ideas, comment, and collaborate.<\/p>\n

For example, there are face shield designs being 3D Printed and assembled in the Czech Republic, Spain, United States and more.\u00a0 Who needs a face shield?\u00a0 How do the design parameters affect the health care professional? What materials can be sterilized? How can 3D Printing or Laser cutting improve speed in delivery of 1000’s of face shields?\u00a0 These questions and many more can be found in the Open COVID19 community.<\/p>\n
