My friends at Abaqus have put together a really cool analysis contest<\/a>.  Are you ready to create really great images or videos in Abaqus like this one, an Auxetic Foam Stress analysis?  The image <\/a>above is courtesy of Dr. Georges Limbert from University of South Hampton, UK.  You can win an iPad and bragging rights.  There is a category for both students and commercial users.<\/p>\n

Previous student winner, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, created an animation.  In Abaqus, you can simulate human skin, muscles, joints, and bones of a foot.  You can read about the research behind the foot in the academic technical paper<\/a> written by Jason Cheung and Ming Zhang.  <\/p>\n
