Based on this, it outlines an automated approach using the SOLIDWORKS API to extract information from the drawing and solid model. This is developed into a procedure to assess and mark a large number of student drawings.\u00a0Attendees will engage in a discussion of how engineering drawings can be assessed in an automated way. They will see how the SOLIDWORKS API can be a useful tool without too much knowledge of Visual Basic.
