Diego, in his last semester as a  Mechanical Engineering student, didn’t wait until graduation to start making his way in the industry. He is currently doing his professional internship at a company dedicated to the design of plastic injection molds. There, he discovered that to face the challenges of his daily work, he needed to improve and expand his 3D CAD design skills.

That was the starting point for him to begin training in SOLIDWORKS in a self-taught, disciplined, and strategic way.

Far from being content with a basic understanding of the software, Diego decided to go further. First, he obtained his Certified SOLIDWORKS Associate (CSWA) and Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional (CSWP )certifications, and later completed specializations in:

Surfaces
Mold Tooling
Drafting
Sheet Metal
Welded Parts

This path not only strengthened his technical expertise but also allowed him to more clearly visualize what it means to design with precision, intention, and mechanical depth.

His effort led him to an extraordinary achievement: passing the CSWE (Certified SOLIDWORKS Expert) certification, the highest distinction awarded by SOLIDWORKS.

This achievement is even more remarkable because he is the first student from the Technological Institute of Aguascalientes to attain it.

Diego, estudiante de penúltimo semestre de Ingeniería Mecánica, no esperó a graduarse para empezar a abrirse camino en la industria. Actualmente realiza sus prácticas profesionales en una empresa dedicada al diseño de moldes de inyección de plástico. Allí descubrió que para enfrentar los retos de su día a día necesitaba mejorar y expandir sus habilidades en diseño CAD 3D.

Ese fue el punto de partida para que, de manera autodidacta, disciplinada y estratégica, comenzara a capacitarse en SOLIDWORKS.

Lejos de conformarse con un manejo básico del software, Diego decidió ir por más. Primero obtuvo sus certificaciones CSWA y CSWP, y posteriormente completó especializaciones en:

  • Superficies
  • Herramientas de moldes
  • Dibujo
  • Chapa metálica
  • Piezas soldadas

Este camino no solo fortaleció su dominio técnico, sino que le permitió visualizar con más claridad lo que significa diseñar con precisión, intención y profundidad mecánica.

Su esfuerzo lo llevó a un logro extraordinario: aprobar la certificación CSWE (Certified SOLIDWORKS Expert), la más alta distinción que otorga SOLIDWORKS.
