XROBOCON Prepares Students for the Future with SOLIDWORKS and the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform

XROBOCON, organized by NHK Enterprises, Inc., was held at the Osaka-Kansai Expo Hall, August 25th to 27th, 2025. NHK Enterprises, Inc. has hosted numerous ROBOCON (robot contest) in Japan in the past. XROBOCON was launched for the first time with the aim of co-creating technology and imagining the future of technology 20 years from now.

As a sponsoring company, Dassault Systèmes provided participants with 3DEXPERIENCE Platform and SOLIDWORKS software, to promote the development of future talent and the creation of virtual environments accessible to a broad user base beyond corporate boundaries.

80 participants gathered from across Japan, formed mixed 4 teams of working professionals and students. 3DEXPERIENCE Platform and SOLIDWORKS software were used by those engineers, creators and students from various fields, to design the robots. The cloud-based environment enabled the establishment of a collaborative workspace despite the varying locations and schedules of the participants.

Congratulations to all students that participated in XROBOCON 2025. We look forward to your product designs in the years to come.
