Formula SAE Japan Students Request SOLIDWORKS Training Sessions

The following blog is written by my colleague Junko Arai, SOLIDWORKS EDU Senior Sales Specialist Japan.

At the request of Formula Student (FSAEJ) teams, we hosted SOLIDWORKS training sessions in Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka. Over 200 students from 30 teams gathered totally, 90% of them were freshmen who had entered university in April. The one-day training course began with an introduction of Dassault Systèmes, then students learned parts modelling, assembly and drawings using SOLIDWORKS.

The sessions for engineering students were great opportunities to develop practical skills through the Formula project. We are happy to nurture the next generation of engineers!

Thank you for the passionate training by CRE IPC engineers,  Masaharu KAJIWARA, Dake SHIRAGAMIHiroki OGURI, not only teaching students how to design, but also guiding them in the essence of being an engineer. Thank you also to Shinnosuke OGAWA as our teaching assistant – it was a big help!

Students also asked questions about the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, our business and technology platform.

We couldn’t be happier to support these motivated students.

Thank you Junko and SOLIDWORKS Japan team for supporting these young engineers.

Any Formula SAE, Formula Student, or SAE Collegiate team can apply for SOLIDWORKS Student team sponsorship for free.  Just fill out the application here.

Design well, Marie
