Lesson 2: SOLIDWORKS Academic Certification – Certification Provider Program for Educators and Their Students
In Lesson 1, we answered the question, Why would someone want a SOLIDWORKS certification?
One of the first questions educators asks me is, “What is the process to provide the CSWA exam to my students?” This was a question I had when I was teaching SOLIDWORKS at Mass Bay Community College many years ago.
The answer is simple. To become a SOLIDWORKS Academic Certification Provider fill out our our on-line application.

View the section on becoming a SOLIDWORKS Academic Certification Provider. An Academic Certification Provider is defined as an educational institution on subscription, with a minimum number of licenses (varies by country), that is eligible to administer CSWA, CSWP and other specialty exams.

Review and fill out the requested fields.

SOLIDWORKS offers the Academic Certification Provider program to various School levels. A school email address is required.

A list of Certification rules along with general exam information is provided in the application form.
Read and confirm.
Submit your application. The process should take 7 – 14 working days.
