Hyperloop Guadaloop Team from UT Austin Featured in EDU Zone at 3DXW25

Last week, 3DEXPERIENCE World 2025 in Houston, TX, USA showcased some of the most innovative products and technology in our SOLIDWORKS community.  The EDU Zone featured the best of engineering design from students, educators, makers and manufacturers.

We were fortunate to spend the week with Hyperloop, Guadaloop Team from University of Texas, Austin. Subsystem Members: Brennen Hong, Kevin Huang, Dhilan Nag, Neha Manda, and Kerwin Zhang explained the Hyperloop student competition and how they are engineering innovative components with SOLIDWORKS. The multi-discipline student team comprised of engineering, business, and research, breaks down very complex problems into subsystems.

According to the team, “Hyperloop represents the future of transportation—an innovative fifth mode that will soon move people at unprecedented speeds, offering greater safety than air travel, more affordability than traditional methods, and a sustainable alternative for the planet. At Guadaloop, we are dedicated to advancing hyperloop technology, driving a wide range of operations with the shared mission of making this revolutionary system a reality for the world.”

Thank you SOLIDWORKS EDU team. Simge Walsh, Valerie Lecolle, Chris Morse, Bonny Cao and Nirali Jain for supporting so many students and educators.

Thank you Kevin, Brennen and Hyperloop, Guadaloop Team for sharing with the SOLIDWORKS Community.  We wish your team the best in the upcoming competitions.

Design well.  Marie
