SOLIDWORKS EDU Spotlight – Nicholas Kremer Just Went Pro with Dassault Systemes

Congratulations to Nicholas Kramer, our new DELMIAWorks User Success Engineering Associate,
within Manufacturing, Automation & Manufacturing Execution User Success Engineering.  I first met Nick through Chief Delphi,  a community portal for FIRST Robotics Competition and FIRST Tech Challenge teams.

Nick has been a participant in FRC 3512 Spartatroniks and now mentor.  Most of his SOLIDWORKS knowledge he learned on his own, but the local community college, Allan Hancock College,  showed how SOLIDWORKS design and manufacturing work hand-in-hand.  Now Nick is a supporting mentor,  helping young designers on his FIRST team and in the FRC community.

“FIRST,  the sport where every kid can go pro, said Dean Kamen back stage at 3DEXPERIENCE World in 2020 when he was the keynote speaker. For me, introducing Dean to 1000’s in the  SOLIDWORKS community was one of the highlights of my career.   I heard Dean’s statement a decade earlier when I was honored to judge FIRST Championship at the Georgia Dome.

When Nick reached out to me and said he was interviewing at Dassault Systemes, I was excited.  When Nick reached out again and told me he is now a User Support Engineer for DELMIA Works – I was ecstatic!

Nick, I know the SOLIDWORKS Community, the DELMIA Community, and the FIRST Community wish you the best in your new role.

Design well.  Marie
