Korea’s GyouBeom Kim Publishes 3DEXPERIENCE SOLIDWORKS Text Book

Professor GyouBeom Kim, Catholic Kwandong University (Located in the City of Gangneung, South Korea), is our latest SOLIDWORKS Education advocate to develop new content based on 3DEXPERIENCE SOLIDWORKS and SOLIDWORKS Cloud CAD apps (xDesign, xShape).

With the help of  our Korean Education Value Added Reseller, Cubic Systems, Professor Kim, department dean unmanned aeronautics, explores design, collaboration, and product lifecycle management.

Professor Kim received a PhD in Aerospace Engineering with his thesis, “Design and Verification of Multi-rotor Based Unmanned Aeroplane System”.

Other publications (in English) for AIAA and International Aerospace journals include:

  1. Manufacturing and Performance Test of Rotary-wing Type Micro Aerial Vehicle
  2. Design, Fabrication, and Performance Test of a Rotary-Wing Micro Aerial Vehicle
  3. Design and Fabrication of Coaxial Quadrotor with Collision Avoidance system
  4. Control system design of a quad-rotor with collision detection

With a passion, he is now teaching SOLIDWORKS Cloud Apps to students in his drone modeling class.  This is a class I would love to take!
