3DEXPERIENCE World  is a virtual free event and everyone can register to attend live and recorded activities.  For the students you would have seen in Atlanta, I would like to share their innovation and dedication with the SOLIDWORKS community.

DASSAULT SYSTEMES Living Heritage

From  Instituto Technologico Y De Estudios Superiores De Monterrey  Mexico,  Juan Pablo Rojas Ibarra, Zyanya Verónica Zúñiga Medina, Luis Osornio Ugalde,  Michelle Sánchez Guerrero  recreate the Garden of Babylon for the Dassault Systemes Living Heritage Challenge using the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.

DASSAULT SYSTEMES Project of the Year 2021

Julien Dassy, Dylon Memmo, and  Matthias Thomas, with drive and determination, recreated the components in a Lamborghini using  SOLIDWORKS  and the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.  The students collaborated in the design, simulations, renderings, and animations from three different universities in France, ESIEE (it), Université de Versailles, and UVSQ.

Danielle Boyer and the STEAM Connection

The STEAMConnection organization is on a mission to make technology education for youth with the power of robotics.  Danielle Boyer is a young Indigenous (Ojibwe – Sault Ste Marie Tribe) robotics inventor, author, activist, and advocate for youth who has been teaching kids since she was ten years old. Danielle creates equitable and innovative learning solutions for minority youths with robots that she designs, manufacturers, and gives away for free.  With tools like SOLIDWORKS Apps for Kids and help from our SOLIDWORKS User Groups and VARs, we look forward in seeing new projects in 2022.

Tennessee Tech Baja Team

The Tennessee Tech Baja Team displays the moto to Design. Build. Compete.  As one of the world’s leading Baja teams and host too many SAE International events, we are fortunate they utilize SOLIDWORKS and SOLIDWORKS Simulation for the challenging events.  We look forward in seeing you at an event this summer.  Thank you for giving me an opportunity to visit your campus during  a SAE Baja event.

Louisiana Tech Shell Eco Team

We have been fortunate to see the Louisiana Tech Shell Eco Team compete and present at 3DEXPERIENCE World’s in Nashville and Dallas.  Under the direction of Associate Dean, Heath Tims, the team has been winning titles and breaking records in the Shell Eco-marathons in the Americas.

Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket Space Program

Students from Yellow Jacket Space Program are working to develop liquid-propellant rocket systems.  Their mission is to design, construct and fly a liquid-fueled rocket to the Karmen Line, the official edge of space 100km above the Earth.
