We are proud to sponsor over 1,000 FIRST ® Robotics Competition teams worldwide, providing free software and support to teams of all sizes, from rookies to well-established robot builders. We are excited to continue our support during the 2021 season, FIRST® Robotics Competition, part of the FIRST® GAME CHANGERSSM powered by Star Wars: Force for Change.
Dassault Systemes and the SOLIDWORKS Education Team have formed a super team, 3DXEDU, and we want to help you develop the engineers and innovators of tomorrow. Student teams now have the choice of using the SOLIDWORKS desktop product, which includes over twelve powerful design, and engineering products or the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, a cloud-based portfolio of integrated tools and apps. Teams can apply for both sponsorships separately if they choose.
The 2021 season marks SOLIDWORKS’ seventh year as a Crown Supplier for FIRST. All FRC teams have access to the 2021 Kit of Parts (KOP) in SOLIDWORKS desktop, xDesign and .STEP formats, which they can use to create quick models and assemblies of their robots.

HOW TO APPLY FOR SPONSORSHIP
Interested teams should complete a short online sponsorship application. Within five business days, the team will receive an email confirmation with instructions on how to download the software.
