SOLIDWORKS World – Keynote Professor Kyoungchul Kong Speaks on Wearable Robot Technologies

Kyoungchul “KC” Kong is a professor of mechanical engineering at Sogang University, and CEO and founder of SG Robotics. With the help of his team he’s developed various wearable robots to help those in need of assistive technologies.

I am honored to interview Professor Kong at SOLIDWORKS World 2018 on stage at Tuesday’s General Session, where he will showcase his latest work, ANGELEGS—a wearable robot system that helps people whose ability to walk has been severely impaired.

Last year, members of the SOLIDWORKS Education and Research team visited with Professor Kong and his Research team as they design and make robotic devices that improve people’s lives.

SG Robotics is the first participant of the SOLIDWORKS Entrepreneur program in Asia.  We look forward to seeing new wearable technologies center stage on Tuesday and in the SOLIDWORKS World Partner Pavilion throughout the week.  Marie
