SolidWorks Reseller Supports Certification, UC Davis and STEM Kids
SolidWorks Educator Dave Alpert is one of the most innovative teachers I know. He is in the classroom to be the education advocate for SolidWorks Value Added Reseller GoEngineer. Dave hosts multiple educator workshops in the western US.
He answered the call to professors and teaching assistants from UC Davis to develop a custom class for instructors. UC Davis has expanded their engineering program using SolidWorks as the engineering design tool. They are preparing to offer their students Certified SolidWorks Associate, CSWA, Certified SolidWorks Professional, CSWP and Certified SolidWorks Associate – FEA exams. Passing the SolidWorks certification exams gives UC Davis students a competitive advantage throughout the engineering curriculum and when applying for an engineering position.
GoEngineer’s Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) outreach starts much younger. Their Engineering Camp program is held throughout their western US offices to show children the excitement behind design and manufacturing.
Thank you Dave and GoEngineer for all your support of teachers and students. Thank you too for sharing with the SolidWorks Community – great video, I wish I could go to summer camp! Marie
