Walk Again Project brings Engineering Innovation to the 2014 World Cup

Walk Again Project David Prawel

Tomorrow a paralyzed teen will kick the first soccer ball at the 2014 World Cup held in Sao Paulo, Brazil.  Thanks to researcher David Prawel, director of Colorado State University’s public access Idea-2-Product Laboratory and amazing exoskeleton technology.

My colleague Jason Cloyd, SolidWorks Academic Research Business Manager, got to talk to David during this very busy time on how SolidWorks was used to design part of the system feedback in the helmet.

There are many other researchers from CSU and Duke University – we will be working on more stories around this amazing technology.

For now, let the games begin in Brasil (Brazil)!  Marie
