University of Michigan World Solar Car Team Introduces "Generation"

Student from the University of Michigan World Solar Car team sent us a picture of this year’s vehicle. New Regulations for the 2013 World Solar Challenge (WSC) resulted in a major engineering challenge. The UM Solar Car team has been working on the design and construction of their 12th solar car.

The vehicle, named Generation is their first car to feature an asymmetrical design to adapt to changes in the WSC regulations.
