One of the things we've heard from SolidWorks World attendees over the past few years is that you'd like to learn more in advance about the SolidWorks partners who set up booths in the Partner Pavilion. So now through January, we'll be posting a series of blog entries about some of the partners you might think about checking out, and the people who will be representing them. Today we hear from Dave Ptak, President at SolidProfessor<\/a>.<\/p>\n

1. Tell us about SolidProfessor.
<\/strong>SolidProfessor produces video training resources for SolidWorks with a product library that covers the full spectrum of training needs from beginner through advanced functionality, as well as SolidWorks add-ins. SolidProfessor products can be installed on a user\u2019s computer, or streamed over the web. The product library features over 1200 topics, and is supported by a learning platform that includes assessment exams, a custom course builder, downloadable exercise files, plus administrative functionality for tracking, metrics, progress, and reporting.<\/p>\n

2. Why should SolidWorks World attendees visit your booth?
<\/strong>Besides learning about our latest training products, our booth often has video games, mini-golf, product giveaways, limo rides, t-shirts, and raffle prizes such as the Playstation 3 awarded last year in Anaheim. For SolidWorks 2011, we\u2019ll certainly continue the tradition of making our booth a fun place to be, and have some exciting prizes and giveaways, but that\u2019s all we can say for now!<\/p>\n

3. How can your products or services help make a SolidWorks user\u2019s life easier?
<\/strong>The sole focus of our business here at SolidProfessor is to make SolidWorks easier to learn, and easier to use.
