If you will be attending 3D<\/strong>EXPERIENCE World 2023 in Nashville in person, be sure to visit the 3D<\/strong>EXPERIENCE Playground, the official gathering place for the event. The\u00a03D<\/strong>EXPERIENCE Playground will showcase the latest and greatest products and services, while providing a unique opportunity to network with SOLIDWORKS experts, partners, makers and other like-minded users.<\/p>\n

When it comes to innovations, the\u00a03D<\/strong>EXPERIENCE Playground is where all the action will be. This year the playground will be broken into six zones. You won\u2019t want to miss it!<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s break down what you\u2019ll see in each zone of the\u00a03D<\/strong>EXPERIENCE Playground:<\/p>\n

Dassault Syst\u00e8mes booth<\/strong><\/p>\n

You’ll easily find the Dassault Syst\u00e8mes booth in the center of the hall. It’s the place to see our complete portfolio of products on offer. It’s also the place to ask focused questions to see how your company might benefit from any new technology. Or maybe you have a technical challenge and want to pick the brains of the experts to find the best way to resolve it.<\/p>\n

You will find that the DS Booth is an excellent, yet underused, resource for all attendees whether you are a seasoned veteran or a “World” first-timer. Learn how to use the DS Booth to amplify your whole 3D<\/strong>EXPERIENCE World experience by reading this blog<\/a>.<\/p>\n

EDU Zone<\/strong><\/p>\n

What does the future of 3D design look like? Come marvel at the variety of versatile products designed in SOLIDWORKS and 3D<\/strong>EXPERIENCE Works tools from the world of higher learning\u2014from high schools to university student engineering programs.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s EDU zone includes students and projects, demo stations where you can see and try SOLIDWORKS Apps for Kids<\/a> and SOLIDWORKS Cloud Apps for Students, an NIAR VR booth from Wichita State’s 3DS Lab,\u00a0as well as a student-designed Formula One Car from Vanderbilt University. Join the conversation and see the future of product development live and in person.<\/p>\n

Makers Zone<\/strong><\/p>\n

Check out this area of the 3D<\/strong>EXPERIENCE playground and you\u2019re one step closer to the fascinating world of makers. Here you\u2019ll find makers, academicians, and 3D printing technologies\u2014all in one place to celebrate the spirit of making. Shop Floor<\/strong><\/p>\n

See real-world production in motion on the Shop Floor in the\u00a03D<\/strong>EXPERIENCE Playground.\u00a0\u00a0Here is where you\u2019ll see how the magic happens when designs actually get built. Witness real products being built on 5-axis milling and mill-turn machines from DN Solutions<\/a> and a mill and plasma from Tormach<\/a>.<\/p>\n

You can also participate in a hands-on CNC session or learn more about the world of robots and how they can help mitigate skilled talent shortages in Robotics 101, a hands-on Cobot session. You can also check out a coffee-tending robot or catch up with old and new friends in our lounge area.<\/p>\n

Model Mania<\/strong><\/p>\n

Returning for its 23rd<\/sup> year, Model Mania is a much-beloved design challenge that pits users against other users to determine whose modeling skills reign supreme. Modeling skills are measured on both accuracy and time.\u00a0 There are prizes for the top three resellers and customers.<\/p>\n

In addition to the in-person challenge, a separate virtual challenge will be held online for those attending 3D<\/strong>EXPERIENCE World virtually so no one will miss out on this fan-favorite World tradition. Winners of both challenges will be announced on the last day of the event.<\/p>\n

3DEXPERIENCE Theater<\/strong><\/p>\n

As part of\u00a03D<\/strong>EXPERIENCE World, partners will have the opportunity to showcase their amazing innovations and experiences in the\u00a03D<\/strong>EXPERIENCE Theater. Take a seat and learn about all the amazing partner products that take your SOLIDWORKS investment to the next level.<\/p>\n

The 3D<\/strong>EXPERIENCE Theater is also where you can gather with friends\u2014both new and old\u2014and enjoy some food and beverages during the Welcome Reception on Sunday, February 12th<\/sup> from 3:00-5:00 ET. Wednesday will be another day to take a seat in the 3D<\/strong>EXPERIENCE Theater and watch as the winners of fan-favorite Model Mania are announced.<\/p>\n
