Last year a SOLIDWORKS user sent an email to Rachel and me with the salutation “Dear R\u00a0& R”.\u00a0 We decided to run with it at SOLIDWORKS World 2017<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

We’re both hitting the road soon for our favorite part of the job, attending and presenting at SOLIDWORKS User Group<\/a> meetings.\u00a0 We’ll travel separately for a couple of weeks, and then meet up in Ohio for three meetings.<\/p>\n

Rachel heads out March 6th, and\u00a0Rudy, Ryan, and the rest of the Nashville SOLIDWORKS User Group<\/a> will host Rachel at the Nashville Technology Counci<\/a>l.\u00a0 They’re in for a treat – Rachel will be presenting “The Certification Game”, possibly her most loved presentation.<\/p>\n

A quick two-hour drive will take Rachel to southeast Tennessee where she’ll meet up with Nicole and the Chattanooga SOLIDWORKS User Group<\/a>.\u00a0 Nicole helped to arrange the trip for Rachel, and I’m sure neither of them will be disappointed.<\/p>\n

Down the road a spell to Atlanta, where Malay’s North Atlanta SOLIDWORKS User Group<\/a> will feed her and take good care of her.\u00a0 I’m sure she’ll return the favor with another great presentation.<\/p>\n

While Rachel is down south, I’ll be heading north to the Boston area.\u00a0 I’ll start off March 7th at the Rhode Island and Southern Massachusetts SOLIDWORKS User Group<\/a>.\u00a0 I’m happy to share my SOLIDWORKS Tips and Tricks presentation for my first visit to this group.<\/p>\n

On March 8th, something special happens – the Central MA SOLIDWORKS User Group<\/a> turns 10 years old.\u00a0 Congratulations to Tom, Glen, and all of the group members for reaching this great milestone.<\/p>\n

I’ll fight the Boston area traffic on March 9th and head north to the New Hampshire SOLIDWORKS User Group<\/a> meeting at Daniel Webster College.\u00a0 Cindy and I worked through some insurance issues with the college, so if I fall and hurt myself, I’ll be covered.\u00a0 I’ll also try to pull out a few new tips for the group.<\/p>\n

While Rachel heads home for a week, I get to go to Arizona.\u00a0 It’s been too long since I visited the Phoenix Metro SOLIDWORKS User Group<\/a>, and I’m looking forward to meeting the rest of the team that currently leads the group on March 15th.<\/p>\n

The drive from Phoenix to Tucson is long, lonely, and incredibly beautiful if you like desert and mountains (I do).\u00a0 CAID Industries<\/a> is the host location for the Tucson SOLIDWORKS User Group<\/a> meeting on March 16th, and Bill tells me that we’ll get to see something really special.<\/p>\n

R1<\/strong> and R2<\/strong> will be together for three meetings in Ohio.\u00a0 We’ll start at the Greater Cincinnati SOLIDWORKS User Group<\/a> on March 21st.\u00a0 This will be the first time I’ve visited since Jeff Arthur handed over leadership to John Christensen.<\/p>\n

March 22nd takes us to Columbus for a meeting with the Central Ohio SOLIDWORKS User Group<\/a>.\u00a0 I love the city of Columbus (maybe the cleanest downtown area I’ve ever seen), and I’m looking forward to my first visit with Mike and the rest of the group.<\/p>\n

Moving up the road a bit, we’ll finish up the trip by helping Randy and the Miami Valley SOLIDWORKS User Group<\/a> celebrate their 10 year anniversary on March 23rd.\u00a0 Randy has been leading the group since the start, and I’m sure he’s proud of what he has built for his members (as are we).<\/p>\n

I’m excited to get back out on the road, and even more so the week of March 21st.\u00a0 I really like “co-starring” at meetings with Rachel – an excellent presenter, a superb user advocate, and a good friend.\u00a0 If you’re in Ohio that week, look us up.<\/p>\n
