I’ve been following the travels of #flatswugn<\/a><\/strong> on Twitter, and I have to say I’m honored and humbled by the whole thing. So far I’ve been to South Dakota, Nebraska (including a stop at Memorial Stadium – as a Texas Longhorn fan, I’m still trying to digest that one), and Massachusetts. Only John Matrishon<\/strong> knows where #flatswugn will end up next.<\/p>\n

Next week #3Dswugn will hit the road for a trip to the Boston area and SOLIDWORKS User Group<\/a><\/strong> meetings in Worcester, MA\u00a0and Tolland, CT. I’m super excited about the trip for a whole bunch of reasons.<\/p>\n

First and foremost, Rachel York<\/strong> will be joining me, and for the very first time we will both be presenting at the same meeting.<\/em><\/span>\u00a0I hope you’ll join us on Wednesday, June 15th in Worcester for the Central MA SOLIDWORKS User Group<\/a><\/strong> meeting. Rachel will give her very popular “Certification Game” session, and I’ll pull out something new and talk “SOLIDWORKS Assembly Tips and Tricks”.<\/p>\n

On June 16th, I finally get to attend what’s come to be known as “The Mastercam Meeting”<\/strong>. For the past several years, Ed Gebo<\/strong> and Ed Poole<\/strong> have worked with the good folks at Mastercam<\/a><\/strong> to set up a once-per-year meeting at the company’s headquarters. Ed is expecting a huge turnout in the 100+ range. Oh yeah, SOLIDWORKS CEO Gian Paolo Bassi<\/strong> will also be there.<\/p>\n

Finally, it’s always good to visit the Dassault Systemes campus and meet face-to-face with the people I work with. There will be meetings,\u00a0I\u00a0guarantee.<\/p>\n

It’s been too long since I got to visit SOLIDWORKS User Groups, but that’s changing fast. Later this month I’ll be in the Cleveland area for the annual NEOSWUG Cookout<\/a><\/strong> meeting, another one that I have never had the opportunity to attend. I’m scheduled to be in North Carolina in July for three meetings, the SWUGN Summit events will start in August, and in September I’ll be hosting some very special guests at a very special event.\u00a0 More information on that soon.<\/p>\n

I don’t know what the plan is for #flatswugn, but I’m sure he’ll be as happy as I am over the next few months.<\/p>\n
