SOLIDWORKS World 2016<\/span><\/u><\/a> <\/strong>will be here before you know it, and it\u2019s time to start thinking about the sessions you will attend.\u00a0 Over the next couple of months, we\u2019re going to ask SOLIDWORKS World presenters to come here and\u00a0convince you that their session should be on your list.<\/p>\n

Today it’s Casey Gorman’s<\/strong> turn to\u00a0persuade you to attend his SOLIDWORKS World session. Casey is a seasoned presenter, a CSWP (the old 8-hour version he’s quick to point out), a SOLIDWORKS user group leader, and the SWUGN representative<\/a><\/strong> for the Southeastern US.<\/p>\n

OH! The Trauma of MBD; What Will Happen to My 2D?<\/em><\/strong><\/span>
\nLearn the working definition of MBD: what is needed to make it usable: why it is not just for those who do work for DoD. Model Based Definition is used on many levels, in the shop, incoming inspection, anywhere you need to use part information.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

What made me decide to create a presentation on SOLIDWORKS MBD?\u00a0 Personal experience \u2013 I wanted to share the trials, tribulations, and successes of our recent implementation at Sparton<\/strong><\/a>.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

At my session, you will find that SOLIDWORKS MBD\u00a0is more viable now than ever before. Heck, you might even find out you are closer to using SOLIDWORKS MBD than you think. It may be as simple as a flip in emphasis in your process.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

As part of the presentation I will be showing you the tools in SOLIDWORKS MBD that help make publishing the 3D enabled PDF\u2019s easier. Obviously there are a couple ways to get to where you are going, but tools within the program help to reduce steps and make them simpler.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

After attending my presentation \u201cOH; the Trauma of MBD\u201d you will have a better understanding of what SOLIDWORKS MBD is, why you might want to use it, and how it will help streamline your\u00a0processes.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
