I spent last week in England and attended two very good SOLIDWORKS User Group<\/a> meetings, managed to navigate the London underground system, and took a hair raising ride to Heathrow airport on Friday.\u00a0 All in all a very good trip.<\/p>\n

We met at a very nice pub called The Parcel Yard for the\u00a0SOLIDWORKS User Group London<\/a>.\u00a0 The folks from NT CADCAM gave us a nice look at the new Chain Pattern functionality in SOLIDWORKS 2015, and a rendering session finished up the evening.\u00a0 Right around 20 people in total, some good “local” food, and a nice venue made for a terrific evening.<\/p>\n

John Moore’s University in Liverpool was the venue for the United Kingdom SOLIDWORKS User Group North West User Group <\/a>meeting.\u00a0 The meeting was held in conjunction with the universities annual Student Design Show, and we got to see some wonderful projects displayed.<\/p>\n

Group leader Adam Green was all smiles as nearly 100 people mixed and mingled with students, faculty, and industry reps.\u00a0 According to Adam, this will become an annual event for UK-SWUG-NW.<\/p>\n
