By Monday morning, most (if not all) SOLIDWORKS World<\/a> attendees will have arrived and are ready to start learning from some of the top SOLIDWORKS users in the world.\u00a0 Breakout sessions start right after the general session, and continue throughout the day.<\/p>\n

Breakfast starts at 7:00am sharp<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Monday<\/strong>
\nI like to hang around the registration area starting at 7:00am to meet and greet last minute attendees, then I head over to breakfast at 7:30 or so.\u00a0 After downing some grub, I’ll head straight over to the general session room and start taking some pictures.\u00a0 I love watching the crowd get ready to stampede into the general session.<\/p>\n

I haven’t decided yet which breakout sessions I’ll attend, but I like to pop in on a couple of them at least.\u00a0 I’ll also be working the SWUGN “pod” in the Partner Pavilion, along with several SOLIDWORKS User Group<\/a> leaders.\u00a0 I have a general session rehearsal and a marketing meeting in the afternoon, and I’ll move between a couple of offsite events in the evening.<\/p>\n

Tuesday<\/strong>
\nSOLIDWORKS World Tuesday is usually my favorite because I get a few minutes onstage to talk about SWUGN and hand out awards.\u00a0 It’s also “Special Event”<\/a> night and it looks like a good one this year.\u00a0 I’m also going to attend a couple of the new “Prospect Track”<\/a> sessions and see if I can mention SWUGN once or twice to some prospective SOLIDWORKS users.<\/p>\n

Wednesday<\/strong>
\nWednesday brings a little relief that it’s almost over, but also a touch of sadness that it’s almost over.\u00a0 After breakfast and the general session, I’ll spend most of the day in the Partner Pavilion talking to our Partners about how they can get involved with the SOLIDWORKS User Network, maybe grab some leftover swag, and get ready to say goodbye to a lot of friends.\u00a0 We’ll also get to find out where the 2016 SOLIDWORKS World conference will be held.\u00a0 I don’t know the answer yet, but I do know it will be a city we’ve never visited before.<\/p>\n

Wednesday evening will be jammed packed with “unofficial” events.\u00a0 Nicole Walden (Chattanooga SOLIDWORKS User group) and Casey Gorman (Southeastern US SWUGN rep) have worked hard to put together a nifty, private event for group leaders, and I will definitely make an appearance.\u00a0 There are a couple of Reseller and Partner events, some happy hours, and probably an adult beverage or two.<\/p>\n

Six\u00a0nights and seven days in Phoenix sounds good at this time of the year.\u00a0 I hope to see you there.<\/p>\n
