It’s not easy to be selected as a first-time presenter at SolidWorks World.\u00a0 The initial abstract is very important, and must convey the intent of the session clearly.\u00a0 The topic must be current and highly relevant, and it helps a lot if the presentation has been seen at a local user group meeting or SWUGN Summit event.\u00a0 Finally, a recommendation from a seasoned veteran always helps.<\/p>\n

Andrew Lowe nailed it.<\/p>\n

A great abstract that clearly defines the goals of the session, an advanced topic that is sure to educate, a spot at the SWUGN Summit – Chicago, and a great recommendation from none other than long time SolidWorks World presenter Ed Eaton.<\/p>\n

\"AndrewLowe\"<\/a>Andrew and Ed have been working together at The DiMonte Group for a couple of years now.\u00a0 I asked Ed if it was safe to say that he has mentored Andrew and the answer was enlightening (and long).<\/p>\n

In a nutshell – yes, but it didn’t take long for Andrew to absorb Ed’s teachings.\u00a0It’s also accurate to say that Andrew has taught Ed a thing or two along the way.\u00a0 Nowadays Ed and Andrew share solutions and discoveries, and are always bouncing ideas off of one another.\u00a0 Their customers are very lucky to have two such highly talented individuals working on their projects.<\/p>\n
