For a long time now, SolidWorks users have been creating "content" to help fellow users learn how to be more productive.  SolidWorks World<\/a> presentations, local User Group<\/a> presentations, even things like YouTube videos<\/a> and step-by-step guides<\/a>. – all available free of charge.<\/p>\n

As you can see by the four different links above, SolidWorks learning resources are spread far and wide throughout the SolidWorks Community.  Not even mentioned are the myriad of SolidWorks reseller sites, SolidWorks Community forums, and individual SolidWorks user websites.  You could spend hours (if not days) surfing the web for this information.<\/p>\n

Charles Culp aims to solve this problem by bringing you a one-stop place to find this valuable content – swtuts.com<\/a>.  Born from a SolidWorks World 2011 lunch conversation with Ed Eaton (another prolific content provider), the site launched a few months ago after Charles had spent months working on it.  The layout is clean and easy to navigate.  Some of the content is stored locally, in other cases you will be directed to the "home" location of the presentation or video.  The site does exactly what it's intended to do – provide a single source to find SolidWorks learning resources.<\/p>\n

The site is open to anyone – you can download or view the content, and you can even provide your own.  It's as simple as creating an account and uploading your files (or linking to your own site).  There's one simple rule – all content must be free to all users of the site and be "commercial free".<\/p>\n
