The Wednesday general session is always "Sneak Preview" day at SolidWorks World, and you'll get a chance to see some of the functionality being considered for SolidWorks 2011.  We'll also be handing out the SWUGN Awards, the Model Mania winne<\/span>rs will be announced, and there's always a surprise or two.  After the general session, you get three more breakouts before we're all through.<\/p>\n

Innovative Mold Design Techniques
Erik Hinson, Dauntless Industries<\/em><\/strong>
Erik's session at Solidworks World 2009 ranked second overall based on the evaluations submitted by attendees.  This is a hands-on session designed to walk you through using "Envelope" functionality to help design really great Molds.<\/p>\n

Mechatronics and SolidWorks Event Based Motion – A Perfect Match
Ian Hogg, SolidWorks Corporation<\/em><\/strong>
Machine design is cool, but also presents some challenges.  This session will show you how to evaluate machine operation using SolidWorks Motion, and highlights some integration of tools from national Instruments and Rockwell Automation.<\/p>\n

Understanding Toolbox
Scott Sanson and Sal Lama, SolidWorks Corporation<\/em><\/strong>
A lot of SolidWorks users see Toolbox as nothing more than a parts library.  There's way more to it though, and Scott and Sal will walk you through setup and configuration, standards, adding properties, and a little bit about SmartFasteners.<\/p>\n
