Usually when I get the pleasure of traveling to user group meetings, I fly into an airport, take a shuttle or car to a hotel, attend the meeting, and fly home. I rarely get the opportunity to enjoy the place I am visiting. The Minnesota\/Wisconsin trip has been much different. I’ve driven nearly 300 miles through some of the most beautiful countryside I’ve ever seen. And, maybe I’m easily amazed, but the acres and acres of corn and soybeans fields left me speechless. I never tired of looking at the pristine rows of these very important agricultural products over the rolling hills. Couple that with some of the scenic vistas on Hwy 93 between Eau Claire and Arcadia Wisconsin – well, it’s been a great trip.<\/p>\n
The LEWA<\/a> meeting was great. A very nice group of SolidWorks users and a terrific group leader (thanks Betty) added to the pleasure of the trip.<\/p>\n The Southern Minnesota<\/a> group meeting was huge too! A record turnout (I think), left some people standing in the back of the room until Rob Jensen could arrange for some more chairs. Great job Rob, and thanks for having me.<\/p>\n One more meeting to go – the Minnesota User Group<\/a> meeting starts in less than an hour from now. If average attendance is any indication, I’ll soon be joining 60+ SolidWorks users for three hours of presentations, networking, and food.
