{"id":33479,"date":"2007-10-30T11:19:57","date_gmt":"2007-10-30T15:19:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.solidworks.com\/swcommunity\/racing-to-racin"},"modified":"2007-10-30T11:19:57","modified_gmt":"2007-10-30T15:19:57","slug":"racing-to-racin","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.solidworks.com\/solidworksblog\/2007\/10\/racing-to-racin.html","title":{"rendered":"Racing to Racine"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The 5th annual <a href=\"https:\/\/www.impactengsol.com\/SWKUserConf.cfm\">Midwest SolidWorks User Conference<\/a> starts next Wednesday, November 7th (thru the 9th) at the Racine Marriott in Racine, Wisconsin.&nbsp; The brain-child of SWUGN Midwest Region representative Mark Peters, this event has seen quite a following over the years.&nbsp; High attendance, terrific guest speakers, and enthusiastic sponsors have been the norm, and this year will be no exception.<\/p>\n<p>Jon Hirschtick will deliver the keynote address on Thursday morning, and featured presenters include Greg Jankowski, Vince Adams, and Brian Harrison of SolidWorks Corporation, SolidWorks users <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dimontegroup.com\/\">Ed Eaton<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.precoinc.com\/\">Brian Lindahl<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/designsmarter.typepad.com\/lennyworks\/\">Lenny Kikstra<\/a>, and some of the top reseller AE&#8217;s in the region.&nbsp; There will even be an appearance by <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.solidworks.com\/swcommunity\/2007\/01\/why_is_this_man.html\">Matthew Cummins<\/a> who has been traipsing back and forth from the Chicago area to San Jose recently, and we were lucky enough to catch him in the Midwest during the conference.
