Covey&#8217;s &quot;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Habits-Highly-Effective-People\/dp\/0671708635\">The 7 Habits of Effective People<\/a>&quot;.&nbsp; Thomas clearly showed how Covey&#8217;s 7 habits can be translated to working with SolidWorks.<\/p>\n<p>Larry Cawood of Forney Corporation came off the bench in the third quarter and led the team down the stretch with a look at &quot;SolidWorks in the Real World&quot;.&nbsp; Larry&#8217;s team at Forney does some really great things with design tables and configurations to create families of parts and the supporting documentation.<\/p>\n<p>Team manager Christie Reed put together a great game plan, and the outcome was never in doubt.&nbsp; The post game celebration included a delicious, home-made cake to honor Larry for his recent birthday, and his impending retirement.&nbsp; Larry has been great about hosting NTSUG meetings at his facility and we thank him for that.&nbsp; <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Dallas-Forth Worth area suffered a crushing defeat at the hands of my (original home town) Golden State Warriors last night, but a room full of SolidWorks users at the NSTUG meeting were clear winners.
