The SolidWorks User Group Network finally gets its due in the SolidWorks World 2007 exhibit hall. After a few years of sharing space, we have our own kiosk setup, complete with signage and a computer that isn’t being used to check email.<\/p>\n
User Group Leaders and SWUGN committee reps are taking turns in the booth, and we had a steady flow of traffic into the SWUGN area on Sunday afternoon. We had two inquiries about starting new user groups, and it looks like El Paso, Texas and Cambridge (Toronto), Ontario will soon be represented by new SolidWorks User Groups.<\/p>\n
We started out displaying the SWUGN website homepage on our dual monitor setup, but quickly switched to the calendar page<\/a> – an impressive 22 meetings are scheduled in February, not counting the five that already happened.<\/p>\n If you’re in New Orleans, stop by and meet some of the 40+ user groups leaders that are attending SolidWorks World.
