{"id":33395,"date":"2006-09-12T11:20:05","date_gmt":"2006-09-12T15:20:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.solidworks.com\/swcommunity\/a_rising_star_i"},"modified":"2006-09-12T11:20:05","modified_gmt":"2006-09-12T15:20:05","slug":"a_rising_star_i","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.solidworks.com\/solidworksblog\/2006\/09\/a_rising_star_i.html","title":{"rendered":"A Rising Star in the SolidWorks Community"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>If you frequent the SolidWorks message boards, you no doubt recognize the name Anna Wood.&nbsp; Anna has become a regular at the <a href=\"https:\/\/forum.solidworks.com\/swforum\/default.asp?b=1\">SolidWorks forum<\/a>, as well as other sites such as <a href=\"https:\/\/groups.google.com\/group\/comp.cad.solidworks?lnk=srg&amp;hl=en\">comp.cad.solidworks<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eng-tips.com\">Eng-Tips<\/a>.&nbsp; Her insightful answers to a wide variety of questions, friendly attitude, and willingness to help has made her many fans in the SolidWorks community.<\/p>\n<p>When Anna isn&#8217;t helping SolidWorks users, she&#8217;s either flying or designing aircraft.&nbsp; A 20 year veteran of the International Aerobatic Club (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.iac.org\/\">IAC<\/a>), Anna and her fiance are very active in full scale competition and R\/C aerobatics.&nbsp; She evens finds time to be webmaster for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.desertaircraft.com\/\">Desert Aircraft<\/a>, and maintains her own <a href=\"https:\/\/www.acrodesigns.com\/\">website<\/a> as well.<\/p>\n<p>Anna works for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.auerprecision.com\/\">Auer Precision<\/a> (yep, she has a day job too), and has been instrumental in implementing SolidWorks and pushing data downstream to the shop for CNC and EDM operations.
