{"id":33382,"date":"2006-11-07T00:39:30","date_gmt":"2006-11-07T05:39:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.solidworks.com\/swcommunity\/safe_and_sound_"},"modified":"2006-11-07T00:39:30","modified_gmt":"2006-11-07T05:39:30","slug":"safe_and_sound_","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.solidworks.com\/solidworksblog\/2006\/11\/safe_and_sound_.html","title":{"rendered":"Safe and Sound in Bangalore, India"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m blogging from the SolidWorks office in Bangalore, looking out over the city from the Raheja Towers.&nbsp; It took nearly 26 hours to get here from Austin via Chicago and London.&nbsp; My return trip takes me through Frankfurt, Germany so I&#8217;ll get the chance to check out another airport.<\/p>\n<p>The people here are fantastic and everyone has been very gracious.&nbsp; The most amazing thing so far (besides the food!) was the ride to the hotel from the airport.&nbsp; If you&#8217;ve ever been in a cab through downtown Manhattan, you&#8217;ll know what I mean.&nbsp; Wall-to-wall cars, motorcycles, auto-rickshaws, and pedestrians all looking for an opening.&nbsp; The driver was very skilled, and amazingly calm.
