Each year SOLIDWORKS releases a new version of its flagship product. This year, during the 15 days prior to the release of SOLIDWORKS 2015 we’re taking a look at 15 of our favorite\u00a0new tools\u00a0coming in this feature packed release. \"Drawing<\/a><\/p>\n

Drawing zones<\/strong> are now available in SOLIDWORKS 2015. These zones can be referenced in notes, balloons, view labels and in the revision table. Zones can also exist on every sheet of a SOLIDWORKS Drawing file.<\/p>\n

If a view, note or revision symbol is moved to a different zone, the note or revision table updates automatically. Zone lines can also be toggled\u00a0on or off on the drawing for clarity to get a better understanding of which Zone and object resides in.<\/p>\n

Zone identifiers make it easier to find information on large and also within multi-sheet drawings.<\/p>\n
