Engineers and designers around the world were challenged to design the floating booms integral to the design of the floating collection platforms that the Ocean Cleanup team has designed, with the winner getting a chance to work with the team in The Netherlands.The contest ended last month, and after some deliberation, the judges made their decisions and the winners have been notified.
