Saturday at SolidWorks World is generally quiet, especially in the morning.  There's still stuff going on (Alpha testing, customer meetings, etc.), but most of that is behind closed doors.<\/p>\n

My day started off at breakfast with a VIP, I crashed a meeting between two VIPs that was very enlightening, and had an afternoon meeting with yet another VIP (perhaps the VIP-est).  In between I spent time tweaking the four presentations I will be doing this week (SWUGN Summit, SWUGN Awards, Surfacing session, and the private Group Leader lunch).  Funny, presentations are never done until you actually present them.<\/p>\n

I also ran into some good friends – my favorite part of this whole thing we call SolidWorks World:<\/p>\n

I'll be a little busier today starting with breakfast with the SWUGN Committee<\/a>, then over to registration where I will spend most of the day greeting and welcoming SolidWorks users to the show.  I've dubbed myself the "Unoffical SolidWorks World Greeter" for the past few years, and I'm actually assigned the duty now.  It's a job I take seriously, but I also have a lot of fun with it.  I'll be shaking hands, smiling, and taking more pictures – stop by and see me.<\/p>\n
