{"id":19,"date":"2013-01-20T06:41:54","date_gmt":"2013-01-20T11:41:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.solidworks.com\/swcommunity\/saturday-at-solidworks-world"},"modified":"2017-08-25T07:45:11","modified_gmt":"2017-08-25T11:45:11","slug":"saturday-at-solidworks-world","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.solidworks.com\/solidworksblog\/2013\/01\/saturday-at-solidworks-world.html","title":{"rendered":"Saturday at SolidWorks World"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Saturday at SolidWorks World is generally quiet, especially in the morning.&#160;&#160;There&#039;s still stuff going on (Alpha testing, customer meetings, etc.), but most of that is behind closed doors.<\/p>\n<p>My day started off at breakfast with a VIP, I crashed a meeting between two VIPs that was very enlightening, and had an afternoon meeting with yet another VIP (perhaps the VIP-est).&#160; In between I spent time tweaking the four presentations I will be doing this week (SWUGN Summit, SWUGN Awards, Surfacing session, and the private Group Leader lunch).&#160; Funny, presentations are never done until you actually present them.<\/p>\n<p>I also ran into some good friends &#8211; I&#039;ve dubbed myself the &quot;Unoffical SolidWorks World Greeter&quot;&#160;for the past few years, and I&#039;m actually assigned the duty now.&#160; It&#039;s a job I take seriously, but I also have a lot of fun with it.&#160;
