What’s New in SOLIDWORKS Visualize 2025 and Visualize Boost
Want to create eye-catching renderings of your models fast? We’ve got you covered with SOLIDWORKS Visualize 2025, our 3D visualization solution that allows you to create realistic images, animations, and virtual reality experiences from your CAD models. Let’s look at what’s new, including a new Fast Render mode, Faded Ground option, and more!
Fast Render Mode
The new Fast Render mode provides real-time interactive rendering using Deep Learning artificial intelligence (AI) technology and advanced ray tracing. It uses these tools to quickly remove all the “noise” from your viewport to provide a real-time rendering experience and help you finish your rendering projects faster. Fast Mode can also speed up offline renders to get your high-quality content, such as images and animations, out the door faster.
Photorealistic Rendering in SOLIDWORKS with the SOLIDWORKS Visualize API
One of the exciting and much-requested new enhancements is that Visualize can be used within or via the SOLIDWORKS API.
This API is available with the SOLIDWORKS Visualize Add-In, which allows you to render SOLIDWORKS documents directly or convert them into Visualize project files.
Faded Ground Option
There is also a new option to fade the ground floor, similar to fading parts. By enabling the Faded option under the Ground Shadow Catcher, you can hide the ground without removing the lighting implications that the ground has on the model itself.
This reduces the time you spend post-processing your content and delivers renderings that can be used in various applications. A lot of times, you might want to create a composite image, so having more control over the ground and your renderings will be helpful.
SOLIDWORKS Visualize Boost 2025
SOLIDWORKS Visualize Boost 2025 is now more intuitive to set up, and workflows have been streamlined, so you can create rendering content faster.
For those unfamiliar, SOLIDWORKS Visualize Boost is a product add-on for SOLIDWORKS Visualize that allows you to lighten the load and speed up rendering on your computer or send rendering jobs to another computer or cluster of computers on a network. For instance, you can use the Boost Viewport Rendering to reduce noise and make your view less granular while rendering in SOLIDWORKS Visualize.
As a reminder, SOLIDWORKS Visualize Connected is included with 3DEXPERIENCE Visualize Professional and Premium. Visualize Connected has all of the capabilities of SOLIDWORKS Visualize Professional. SOLIDWORKS Visualize Standard is included with SOLIDWORKS Professional and Premium.
That’s a look at what’s new this year! Whether you need to whip up something fast for marketing, enhance design reviews, or just want to show off your designs on the 3DSwym community, you’ll have fun exploring all the options in SOLIDWORKS Visualize and the latest enhancements.
