"I Could Not Believe This Event"

That was the reaction from Gary R. after the SWUGN Summit – Nashville.  He was reporting back to the new Southern Kentucky Solidworks User Group as one of two SolidWorks users that came in all the way from Kentucky.  In fact, there were 10 states represented among the 106 attendees.

Gary's right, we had an outstanding event.  Having that many people travel so far to get to a SWUGN event reminds me of just how passionate SolidWorks users are.  A day away from the office and the $40 price tag doesn't keep these SolidWorks users away from additional training and networking opportunities that the SWUGN Summit series of events provides.

No SWUGN Summit event would be succesful without the support of local chapters and the outstanding presenters that come to share their knowledge.  Many thanks to Ricky, Gary, Nicole, Brian, Rustin, Jeremy, Lyle, Steve, Brad, and "Uncle John" for their terrific sessions.

Next stop – Las Vegas

My official title is Senior User Advocacy & SolidWorks User Groups - but most people just call me "The User Group Guy". I've been a SolidWorks user since 1997, and was one of the founding members of the SWUGN Committee. Since starting the Central Texas SolidWorks User Group in 1999, my career path has led me to DS SolidWorks and a dream job supporting the SolidWorks User Group Network worldwide.
