SolidWorks World 2011 Partner Profile: SolidACE

One of the things we've heard from SolidWorks World attendees over the past few years is that you'd like to learn more in advance about the SolidWorks partners who set up booths in the Partner Pavilion. So now through January, we'll be posting a series of blog entries about some of the partners you might think about checking out, and the people who will be representing them.

If there are any SolidWorks partners you'd like to hear from, leave a comment and we'll do our best to get them on here.

SolidACE_Team_at_SWW2010 1. Tell us about SolidACE.
SolidACE
is a company developing computer-aided design and engineering tools within a SolidWorks environment for the architectural, building & construction and plant engineering markets.

2. Why should SolidWorks World attendees visit your booth?
At SolidWorks World 2011 we will showcase the latest version (and some technology previews) of upcoming functionality in BuiltWorks. This is a software application for real-time steel design within the native SolidWorks® environment, providing tools for 3D solid parametric modeling, analysis and design, connection detailing and automated generation of both drawings and bills of materials.

3. How can your products or services help make a SolidWorks user’s life easier?
BuiltWorks
helps you to create intelligent structural steel models in a shorter time in SolidWorks. The time required for producing the project can be measured in days or weeks instead of months. Your work is to do the project, instead of studying of programs. BuiltWorks is created by engineers and it is intended for them – it is powerful and flexible, yet it has a simple and convenient interface.

4. How can customers connect with you at the show? How about before and after?
